In the Air Force Reserve, Jeff was promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, a rank attained by only the top 1% of the force. He had the honor of deploying overseas and spending time mobilized in support of Operations Secure Tomorrow, as well as Iraqi/Enduring Freedom. He served in various leadership roles from first line supervisor, all the way up to superintendent of a super squadron of 200 members, and lastly as Functional Area Manager for the Air Transportation Career Field at the Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters at Robins AFB, Georgia. Jeff retired from reserve military service in 2018.
